Employees volunteer in Kenosha to make Taste of Wisconsin great

Around 47,000 people attended Taste of Wisconsin in Kenosha on the lakefront from July 28 to 30 — and North Shore Bank was part of the festivities. “This event is a major fundraiser put on by the Kiwanis Club of Western Kenosha,” area branch manager Julie Goebel said. “A lot of food, drink, entertainment, demos, and activities for the kids.”

Employees from all three local branches — Kenosha Main, Kenosha Festival Foods, and Kenosha Central — helped out for the event, along with some from other branches and Corporate. Visitors to our booth could enter a contest to win $500.

“A huge thank-you to everyone who volunteered to make this event such a great success!” Julie said. “I couldn’t have done it without all the support of our amazing employees.”

Along with Julie, employees who volunteered included:

Erik Bankhead, Universal Banker, Kenosha Festival
Katie Bedard, ABMO, Kenosha Central
Loretta Bondi, Senior Commercial Service Analyst (with husband James and son Stephan)
Robin Callis, Branch Manager, Burlington
Eugene Fox, Teller, Kenosha Main
Josh Hagar, ABMS, Kenosha Festival
Kerri Hoehn, ABMS, McHenry (with boyfriend Ryan)
Denine Johnston, Loss Prevention Manager
Merissa Modory, Branch Manager, Regency
Shayla Noltee, Teller Supervisor, Regency
Debbie Oatsvall, Personal Banker, Kenosha Central
Janet Russell, Deposit Operations Supervisor
Tanya Stoutemire, ABMS, Lake in the Hills
Mila Taguba, Universal Banker, Kenosha Festival

Marketing communications AVP Kate Knox and marketing coordinator Mary Ott provided vital support, too, Julie noted. Great work, everyone!
