Employees observe solar eclipse

The view from Brookfield Square.

Monday’s solar eclipse got North Shore Bank employees outside and watching the sky.

Front row: Consumer loan specialist JoEllen Brisk, senior lending quality control specialist Nancy Knapp, Jamie, and senior systems analyst Sherri Scalish. Back: Project manager Pat Ingelse, credit sales rep Glenda Waters, lending quality control specialist Davida Zollicoffer, VP Jim Krcmarik, and VP Jim Andritsch.

At Corporate, employees stepped out to take a look. “Cloudy conditions affected the viewing, hence the unhappy faces on our paper plate pinhole viewers, creatively drawn by [lending quality control/residential processing manager] Jamie Sperk,” reported VP Barb Wisneski.

Josh and Tricia.

And VP Tricia Cravillion and son Josh got a hold of some welding helmets, so they could stare at the sun with impunity. “We planned last-minute, and it worked out perfectly!” Tricia said. “They were much better than the glasses — although glasses may have been a bit cleaner.”
