The front and back of the Daisies’ handmade thank-you card, which arrived Monday.

Girl Scout Daisy Troop 10625 visited the Fox Point branch on September 21. The girls — first-graders 6 and 7 years old — got a tour from branch manager Carol Bergen.

“I showed them the safe deposit vault, and they got to push on the extremely heavy door,” Carol said. “They used the self-serve coin machine, and we talked about savings and how the bank pays them interest when they save. We also used counterfeit pens on paper and real money.” The Daisies’ visit helped them earn a badge, and a thank-you card arrived from them this week.
