Bank announces many promotions to upper ranks

North Shore Bank promoted a number of its people, effective January 1 of this year. Here are some of the branch employees who received a bump.

Promoted to assistant vice president
Carolyn Lyrenmann. Carolyn joined North Shore Bank in May of this year, as area manager for our Southridge and Forest Home branches. She has a strong management and customer service background, most recently with PNC, where she was an AVP/branch manager for two years; she also spent 13 years in management in the retail setting for a Fortune 500 Company. Carolyn has a strong desire to help her customers reach their financial goals, and to help her team develop to their full potential.

Christen Meyer. Christen joined North Shore Bank this year as manager of our Grafton branch. She brought significant experience managing bank offices, as well as working with business clients and leading the training and development department of an East Coast financial institution. Having already developed several relationships in the Grafton community and with local businesses, Christen is pleased to be part of the SOAR Business Team, where she can apply her passion for helping businesses with efficiency and aligning our bank products to impact client goals.

Shannon Weber. Shannon joined North Shore Bank almost three years ago as a branch manager with extensive experience at another financial institution. During this past year, she was promoted to area manager for our Shorewood market. Shannon’s high-energy approach propels her team forward, and her focus on customer engagement reflects the North Shore Bank brand. She has quickly developed strong relationships in the Shorewood market and is well positioned to lead our transition into our new branch.

Promoted to branch officer
Danielle Hansen. Danielle has been with North Shore Bank for four years and served as branch manager for our Muskego branch for the past year. She has demonstrated her commitment to the North Shore Bank mission by helping her team work with customers to achieve their financial goals and by providing high-touch service. Danielle is also involved with the Muskego chamber of commerce, sharing North Shore Bank’s mission through various events. Through her work with her team and her customers, she has continued to bring success to the Muskego branch.

Erica Hughes. Erica joined North Shore Bank as branch manager of Milwaukee Capitol earlier this year, and was a branch manager for three years prior at another financial institution. She believes in asking strong questions to understand customer goals and providing feedback to support team development. Erica is focused on building off of current relationships and has set goals to expand community involvement in 2018.

Anne Kagerah. Anne recently celebrated 20 years with North Shore Bank. She previously held positions as a personal banker and assistant branch manager, and was promoted to branch manager at our Sussex branch last year. Customers are pleased to work with Anne and are quickly trusting her advice. Anne has continued the community focus our Sussex customer has come to expect.

Farrah Mason. Farrah joined North Shore Bank about one and a half years ago, after she moved to Wisconsin from Indiana. Prior to banking, Farrah managed a team of 45 at a well-known retail outlet and was recognized for being a top-performing manager across state lines. Farrah has positively impacted the customer service experience at Mequon and consistently focuses on customer goal achievement.

Rebecca McCartney. Rebecca joined North Shore Bank five years ago. She has served in a variety of continually progressive roles during that time and currently leads our Bayshore team. Rebecca is passionate about the way we do business at North Shore Bank, and about helping customers achieve their financial goals. She shares what sets North Shore Bank and her team apart with conviction. A result has been building strong relationships with customers and businesses within the mall, and positioning the branch for the transition to the new stand-alone facility.

Merissa Modory. Merissa has been a branch manager for two and a half years overseeing the Regency branch. During her time as manager, she was extremely focused on achieving her goals and objectives, as well as effectively developing a strong team. Merissa is not only committed to delivering outstanding customer service, she also did a fantastic job with community outreach and business development in the Racine market. Merissa recently began her new assignment as branch manager for Kenosha Central. In this growing market, Merissa will be tasked with extending our brand through community outreach and development while delivering an excellent customer experience in the branch.

Outside of the branches, Vikki Dolezal has been promoted to assistant vice president, retirement plans representative. Vikki has been employed with North Shore Bank since March 2015. Her knowledge and experience as a clerk for 10 years and past president of the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association has helped us grow and beat all of our established goals in 2016 and almost all for 2017. She signed over 60 percent of the new municipalities we now represent since 2016, and she was the top referrer from a department each of the past two years. Retirement program service manager Becky Reinhardt notes: “Vikki has embraced the opportunity to offer our customers many different banking options and has accomplished this with no prior banking experience. Vikki’s commitment and dedication have pulled our department together as a team — she embraces change with the many initiatives that we have been working on to automate and cut costs to our department. And she always moves forward with a positive professional attitude, ready for anything.”

And president and COO Jay McKenna recently announced the following promotions to senior vice president:

Mark Ohlert, Chief Credit Officer
