Holada, Moore, Shelton-Moss win 2018 SOAR Together awards

By Molly Schissler, SVP, Human Resources & Compliance

Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations for this year’s annual SOAR Together awards. We received 40 nominations for 32 outstanding employees, and it was wonderful to read all of the comments about our amazing people.

This year’s winners are:

President and COO Jay McKenna, area branch manager Shannon Weber, senior vice president Sue Doyle, David, Molly, and district manager Cristen Baumann.

Outstanding Service – David Holada, assistant branch manager, Shorewood
David was nominated by three of his peers. They each mention how he consistently goes above and beyond for our customers. From researching and discovering a scam and thus saving a customer thousands of dollars to training and assisting new employees, David was described as being the Bank of You, and embodying what North Shore Bank is all about for our customers. One nominator said, “He is a sympathetic ear and trusted resource for customers and employees alike” and “He is a customer and employee favorite.”

Jay, Molly, Colleen, and facilities and services manager Bob Effinger.

Community Involvement – Colleen Moore, mailroom supervisor
Congratulations to Colleen for being recognized for her tireless volunteer involvement on behalf of North Shore Bank and the communities we serve. She has contributed her time to every one of our Milwaukee County Zoo events; she is a regular at our annual Shredding Day; she has worked on behalf of UPAF; she willingly jumps in and assists with our corporate community outreach team; and she has been a regular volunteer at her children’s school as well as our community events at the Cudahy office. All of this makes Colleen worthy of our recognition for our Community Involvement award.

Training and development manager Milene Below, Jay, Nikki, Molly, and training specialist Jaime Sagler.

Legacy Leader – Nikki Shelton-Moss, training specialist
Nikki was recognized by her manager and others here for the lasting impact she has on employees of North Shore Bank. She is one of the first key people that most employees will meet during orientation and other training classes, and she makes such a great impression on them. As one of her nominators put it, Nikki has “a relentless passion for helping others succeed” and “is an unspoken hero and mentor to many.” Nikki was also commended for her recent work on training materials for the DecisionPro conversion project. Congratulations on also recently celebrating 19 years with us, and thank you for all that you do for the continued success of North Shore Bank.

On behalf of North Shore Bank, thank you, Colleen, Nikki, and David!
