Shorewood celebrates 95 years with birthday party and cake

Our Shorewood branch celebrated its — and by extension, all of North Shore Bank’s — 95th birthday with a party on Saturday, August 11.

“It was such an exciting and fun day,” said area branch manager Shannon Weber. “We could not believe how fast the time went by. We had so many people stop in to say happy birthday, grab some cake, and check out the new branch.”

Up top, Seymour Savings (played by customer and local high school student Maxwell S.) cheers on a customer trying her hand at the beanbag toss. Above is customer Tommy, who entered the grand opening contest for the new Shorewood branch and won $1,500 in gift cards to Metro Market and Shorewood restaurants.

And this delicious cake got sweet reviews from customers who dropped in to offer birthday wishes. Thanks to marketing coordinator Mary Ott, along with teller Razalyn Brock, universal banker Laura De Bruin, teller supervisor Audrey Elliott, personal banker Michelle Escalante, assistant branch manager–operations David Holada, universal banker Tianna Lee, and personal banker Kenya Owens for helping put the celebration together!
