Coin-counting event yields $1,000 donation to Shorewood High

The Shorewood branch recently held a weeklong coin-counting event, inviting customers to bring in their spare change and have it totaled up, and pledging to match up to $1,000 of the counted money with a donation to Shorewood High School through the Shorewood SEED Foundation, which supports the village’s public schools.

“We ended up counting almost $5,000 that week!” reports branch manager Shannon Weber. She’s pictured above presenting Shorewood High principal Tim Kenney with the $1,000 check.
