Crowds enjoy deliciously fun day, dining at Shorewood Feast

Branch manager Shannon Weber addresses the crowd with help from Shorewood personal banker Kenya Owens.

The inaugural North Shore Bank Shorewood Feast took place Saturday, September 14, and featured a family-friendly street festival during the day, followed by an outdoor dinner in the middle of Oakland Avenue that evening.

Dinner guests taking in the entertainment as the night started to wind down.

Customers of the bank got a couple of nice perks: a VIP lounge where they could sit and enjoy music on the main concert stage, and an express lane to skip the line for food and drink.

North Shore Bank had a booth with information and activities including the Spin the Wheel game and a selfie station, and Shorewood branch manager Shannon Weber helped emcee between musical acts, tossing goodies to the crowd and thanking the event’s other local sponsors. “Mostly, though,” she said, “we wanted to thank the community for giving us the opportunity to be their financial partner since 1923.”
