Earlier this month, Brookfield Square employees celebrated universal banker Calvin Cicona’s marriage in August to wife Penny.

Cal says the surprise celebration began when branch manager Maria Baumer asked him to bring her some paper. “I thought nothing of it — I am right by the paper, and she’s across the branch from me,” he said. “I walked right by my desk, missing all the gifts, and started to load paper into her printer. I turned around to see everyone behind me.”

After that, he persuaded Penny to come down to the branch as well. “She loved that everyone cared so much,” he said. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
