It’s always exciting to add new members to our team. Here are some of the fresh faces at North Shore Bank.

Allouez teller Ami Erickson is from Pulaski and previously worked as an event planner at the Resch Center. “I enjoy reading anything that grabs and keeps my attention, from mysteries to autobiographies,” she says. She recently finished The Missing Wife, by Sheila O’Flanagan. “It’s about a woman who is escaping an emotionally and verbally abusive marriage, and her journey to being able to stand up for herself.”

Southwest teller Jackeline Huizar-Avila is from Milwaukee and previously worked as a phlebotomist at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin. “I was born in California, but was brought to Milwaukee when I was about 3 or 4 months old,” she says. “That is why I am always cold in any setting — I was meant to be in the warm weather at all times!”

Residential loan specialist Jeff Marohl is from Menomonee Falls and graduated from UW-Whitewater last year with a finance degree. He also previously worked in indirect loan processing for Landmark Credit Union. “I am a big sports fan,” he says. “I follow and root for the Packers significantly more than the other teams, but I am also a Bucks, Brewers, and Marquette basketball fan. Outside of sports, I love going to Eagle River on the weekends, where my family has a place on the lake.”

Residential loan specialist Darrin Sowinski is from Milwaukee and previously worked as a mortgage loan closer for Wisconsin Title. “I enjoyed sitting at the closing tables, but I’m excited to be on the lender side learning so many new skills,” he says. Darrin is a big Brewers fan himself. “Although it is called American Family Field now, it will always be Miller Park to me. The 2011 playoff run will never be forgotten, and I can’t wait for the day when the Brewers win their first World Series!”
