Consumer loan originator John Whalen has worked in banking for almost 25 years. He previously had a long career selling wine in northern Illinois. “I was introduced to the lending side of banking by a close friend and neighbor, and I decided to make a career change and never looked back,” he says. John and wife Deb live on Lake Sinissippi in Hustisford, where he currently serves as vice president of the Lake Sinissippi Association and runs the annual LSA Lakefest. He enjoys boating, watching sports, and golfing.
