Milwaukee Capitol teller Edessa Grant prefers to go by E. “It’s easier for people to remember, but Edessa is fine as well,” she says. She is from Milwaukee and previously worked for TalentBridge as a substitute school secretary. “I love baking and doing other fun projects with my son, Evan, who is 6,” she says. “He is a child with a wild imagination. He likes to draw, color, and build things with boxes or whatever he can find to glue or tape together. We mainly bake cupcakes or cookies.”
