Young people can learn to budget with a Student Checking account

Know a kid who won’t be a kid much longer? It’s the right time for them to upgrade to a Student Checking account. These accounts have no monthly fees or minimum balance requirements, making them perfect for the teen or college student learning how to manage a checking account and debit card. They can even earn rewards.

A parent or guardian does need to co-sign for a Student Checking account if the account holder is younger than 17½. You can see more information and other financial education resources for students here.
