Shorewood teller Amaii Collins — pronounced uh-my — was born and raised in Milwaukee, and previously worked as a recreation specialist at Running Rebels Community Organization. “I love to read,” she says. “I mean this in the sense that during any downtime I have — even a five-minute break — I will crack open a book and read as many pages as I can retain.” She also grew up with Erb’s palsy, a weakness in her right arm. “But through my life without any form of therapy, I started to use it more and more, and today I use both arms regularly for any task.”
