Community loan originator Diana Castillo and her family are walking in the 26th Annual Statewide Down Syndrome Awareness Walk on Sunday, September 25, at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Diana’s youngest son, Elias, has Down syndrome. If you’re interested, you can join their team or donate to Elias’ Tribe here.

The Racine Zoo and North Shore Bank are holding a Giraffe Birthday Celebration on Sunday, September 18. It will be a day of fun with the zoo’s two Masai giraffes, Mac and Jabari. Bank representatives will be on hand giving out sweet treats to visitors and a giraffe-themed take-home kids’ craft. We will also be distributing tickets for the 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. giraffe feedings, giving visitors an up-close encounter with these gentle giants on us. All quantities are limited. More info here.
