Do good, maybe win a prize in our 100 Acts of Kindness challenge

As part of our Bank on Kindness initiative and in celebration of our 100th anniversary, North Shore Bank has set a goal to complete 100 Acts of Kindness. We need your help — and it comes with the chance to win a fabulous prize!

The challenge starts today, and the rules are simple:

  1. Perform an act of kindness. We’ve provided some ideas below, or you can get creative.
  2. Take a photo of your act of kindness — you should be in it! (If you’re alone, a selfie stick may help.)
  3. Send the pic (along with a description) to photos@northshorebank.com. Note that these photos may be posted on social media and in Shorelines.

For each act of kindness you complete between February 9 and March 31, you’ll be entered into a drawing for one of these prizes:

  • 8 hours of PTO
  • 250 Bucket List (Seymour Salutes) points (two of these prizes are available)
  • 6-month membership to the car wash of your choice (a $200 value)
  • Just added March 23: Pizza lunch for you and your department or branch
  • Just added March 23: $100 in free groceries
  • Just added March 23: Meet-and-greet with NBA player Pat Connaughton of the Milwaukee Bucks! (Deadline for this is March 28.)

The more kind acts you perform, the better your odds of winning. Please note:

  • Opt for lower-cost or no-cost acts of kindness. The bank will not be reimbursing participants for this challenge.
  • Consider indoor acts of kindness when possible. (Photos may be shared in the weeks to come, and will look timelier without snow in them.)
  • Performing the same act of kindness multiple times will count as one entry into the drawing.
  • Prize winners will be randomly drawn in April. One prize per winner.

All entries must be submitted by March 31, 2023. (But don’t wait! We’d love to hear from you sooner.) Our goal is to share one act of kindness per day for 100 days, from March 15 through June 22. Watch the bank’s social media accounts to see if your kind act is featured! If you have any questions, reach out to marketing communications manager AVP Kate Knox. 03149
