MCIF database administrator Scott Stulo’s son Xander, 13, took first place in his age group at the Kenosha YMCA’s 45th Annual Firecracker 5K on July 2. He finished the 3.1-mile race with a time of 19 minutes, 58 seconds, placing 14th overall. Xander is entering eighth grade and has run cross country and track throughout middle school. “This summer he’s training with a high school cross country team three to four days a week and plans on running in high school,” his proud dad said.
