AROUND THE BANK

Customer Support Center (CSC) gathered for annual Wrap-Up

The Customer Support Center (CSC) teams gathered for their annual Wrap-Up event to celebrate the successes of individuals and team accomplishments in 2023! As always, the focus of the year was on key objectives that support the bank’s strategic objectives.

The Wrap Up event began with an early morning session where CSC leaders presented highlights and accomplishments of their teams. The celebration was followed by a catered luncheon from Champps. As a way to bring the year to a close in a fun way, a slideshow was created to show team successes, fun activities, and of course, North Shore Bank’s centennial celebration.

A big thank you to the entire CSC department for their efforts during 2023! And a special thank you to Annette Mueller (QA Manager) and Nikki Shelton Moss (Loss Prevention Manager) for creating the slideshow during their personal time.

Spreading holiday cheer and community support through Toy Donation Drive

It’s the season of giving! North Shore Bank is hosting a holiday event to collect toys and is inviting the public and employees to make donations in both our Northeast region and our Southeast region

Community members are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys, books, and other gifts for children ages birth to 11-years-old. At this time, the most needed items are winter clothing, books, riding toys for toddlers, sleeping bags, and blankets. You can join in and make donations at participating locations.

There are now two newly formed opportunities to donate in Milwaukee that you can support.

North Shore Bank’s Mitchell Street branch, located at 1316 W. Forest Home Ave., is teaming up with long-time partner Latino Chamber of Commerce of Southeastern Wisconsin to collect donations for toys to be distributed to the Milwaukee Christian Center. Toys will be collected at the Mitchell Street branch or Latino Chamber of Commerce (530 S. 11th Street Suite 300A) from now until December 18th.

In addition, our Jackson Park branch, located at 4230 W. Oklahoma Ave., is partnering with Latino Entrepreneurial Network (530 S. 11th Street Suite 300B) to jointly collect and distribute toys to St. Jacinto/St. Hyacinth Church from now until December 18th.

Once again, the bank is hosting its annual Jackson Park Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 1st. During this event, the community is welcome to join for hot chocolate, cookies, a visit from Santa, and to drop off toy donations!

North Shore Bank employees help a girl scout troop earn their finance badges

North Shore Bank had the pleasure of hosting a girl scout troop earlier this month to help them earn their finance badges!

The troop learned about checking, savings, and budgeting from Ray Guardiola (Community Engagement Manager) and Jason Mermolia (Franklin Branch Manager). Then they went on to learn about basic investment from Joel Leibengood (Associate Advisor). Lastly, they heard from Diana Castillo (Mortgage Loan Originator).

The girl scouts learned how to transact at the teller POD, how to keep their valuables safe in a Safe Deposit Box, and how North Shore Bank utilizes new technology to be available whenever our customers may need us at our ITM.

The whole group got to say hello to and eagerly asked for a withdrawal from our friendly Video Teller, Erika Garcia.

Needless to say, this troop definitely earned their finance badges!
