COMMUNITY-MINDED
Race for the Hungry raises almost $4,500 to help those in need
Thank you to everyone involved in putting on our 15th annual Race for the Hungry! Two race teams – equipped with decorated shopping carts and food pantry wish lists – scrambled through the supermarket aisles in search of food to feed those struggling with hunger in
Milwaukee, the Fox Cities, and Kenosha.
Together, we were able to donate nearly $3,000 in groceries, plus North Shore Bank gave $500 to each of the local food pantries for a total of almost $4,500 to help people in need.
Not only were we able to successfully support these local food pantries, but the media coverage was far and wide, with the event appearing on WGBA-TV, WITI-TV, WISN-TV, WTMJ-TV, Kenosha News, WGBA-TV, and many more!
“In our fifteenth year of Race for the Hungry, we’re incredibly proud to work with and support partners like St. Joseph’s Food Program, the Milwaukee Christian Center, and Grace Welcome Center in Kenosha as they fulfill needs within our community,” said Kerri Collins, Vice President and District Manager at North Shore Bank. “We know the holidays create a lot of demand for food pantries, which is why donating during this time is incredibly important as our local food pantries restock heading into the spring.”
We are proud to have such a wonderful community to give back to!

Mortgage Days are back
Mortgage Days are back! Throughout the month of February, the bank will host Mortgage Days. The goal is to increase awareness that North Shore Bank does mortgage lending and increase the number of mortgage conversations in the branches.
This year, we are focusing on raising awareness for first-time homebuyers, our Buy Before You Sell Loan, and Construction loans. We’ll be doing this through our website, targeted customer emails, outbound calls, social media, and more!
Whether you or someone you know are buying a first home, building a new home, or curious about refinancing, now’s a great time to talk with a North Shore Bank lender. They can help answer mortgage questions, share special offers, and guide you along the way.
Learn more about Mortgage Days and help spread the word to others by sharing the bank’s social media posts.
