Financial seminar at library focuses on the convenience of digital wallets

The Howard-Suamico branch partnered with the Brown County Library on Aug. 6 to present a seminar on digital payment options. The event aimed to increase financial literacy and confidence in using digital wallets for everyday transactions.

During the presentation, Katie Longsine, community engagement manager, and Zach Burmeister, Pulaski lead teller, provided a broad overview of digital wallets, including their benefits, functionality, and impact on financial transactions. Katie and Zach also discussed security measures to protect personal information and privacy. The attendees were engaged and asked numerous questions, which resulted in an interactive and personalized discussion.

Katie said they were pleased to partner with the library to help promote financial literacy within the community. They look forward to continuing their efforts in financial education and community engagement!
