Pewaukee features photo booth, collects food pantry funds at Taste of Lake Country

Pewaukee employees Marge Welch, Jane Ramage, Kathy Johnson and Patty Muehl take a break and smile during Taste of Lake Country.

We sponsored North Shore Bank’s Taste of Lake Country & Fine Arts Festival in Pewaukee on July 27 and 28. Our Pewaukee branch ran a photo booth at the event, with beach-themed props for dressing up, as well as costume items like fake mustaches and big hats.

Our booth offered crafts for kids and let visitors register for a chance to win prizes. This was the ninth year of Taste of Lake Country and the eighth year North Shore Bank was the title sponsor.

Karen Semrad from Pewaukee Food Pantry, Paul Brown from the Pewaukee Kiwanis, Patty Muehl from North Shore Bank, Judy Litvin from Pewaukee Food Pantry and Pat Gallagher from the Pewaukee Kiwanis display the donations collected at Taste of Lake Country.

We also took donations for the Pewaukee Food Pantry and raised more than $360 with the help of Pewaukee Kiwanis, which matched the funds we collected. Pewaukee Kiwanis  donated an additional $2,140 to make an even $2,500 for the food pantry. Pewaukee Kiwanis is offering to match funds for any donations to the Pewaukee Food Pantry. You can make checks out to the Pewaukee Kiwanis and mail them to PO Box 131, Pewaukee, WI 53072 or call Paul Brown at (262) 544-1404 for more information.

Pewaukee employees who helped out at the event were PB Kathy Johnson, Branch Manager Patty Muehl, SB Jane Ramage and Senior BOC Marge Welch.

This year’s event was amazing…great weather, music, food and crowd. Always a fun way to spend an evening on Pewaukee’s lakefront. :)
