Ashwaubenon’s fourth annual Family Fest was the most successful yet for the branch. More than 50 people showed up for the Aug. 24 event, most of whom weren’t already customers, and the branch opened some new accounts.

Local businesses donated prizes, and we held drawings for a door prize every half hour. We gave away a grand prize of many gifts at the end of the day. Erbert’s & Gerbert’s and Papa John’s provided food.

Infrastructure Technician Josh Grimes performed for the Family Fest crowd.

Other attractions included a fire truck for young attendees to check out, and a smokehouse. Dan from Ashwaubenon’s Heid Music performed songs, as did bank Infrastructure Technician Josh Grimes. The Ashwaubenon High cross-country team held a car wash in the branch’s rear parking lot and earned more than $700.

Employees who helped with Family Fest included Green Bay East CSR Kristine Brunson, PB Tavie Folk, Branch Manager Gail Matzke and CSR Kat Weyers.
