On Sept. 22, our Menasha branch helped put on Kids Day Fox Valley 2012. The event was dedicated to health, safety and environmental issues that affect Fox Valley residents as individuals and as a community. Kids got to play in inflatable bounce houses, see dance demos (including two by our own Seymour Savings), and enjoy face painting, coloring, and food and refreshments. There were also race cars, a fire engine, a police car, the Zoomobile and child ID kits. Thirty bicycles were given away, and we gave away 30 helmets to go with them. Besides Seymour, kids also got to meet Wisconsin Timber Rattlers mascot Fang and Happy from Happy Joe’s Pizza.
