One of my favorite traditions is making tamales with my family! We have to cherish every moment we have together, especially since my grandmother is getting older. I hope we can keep this tradition going for many years to come.

One thing we have always done on Christmas morning is make a batch of homemade cinnamon rolls. Once they are in the oven and the cream cheese frosting is prepared to top them, we open presents. After opening our gifts, we enjoy hot, delicious cinnamon rolls! (Better than Cinnabon!) Last year was the first time our family celebrated Christmas out of town, as our daughter had moved to San Diego. Christmas in California was wonderful, and yep — we had to have our homemade Christmas cinnamon rolls there, too!
