Lexi Eckstein’s makes career progress: three positions plus sponsor training in single year

Lexi Eckstein

You could say that Ashwaubenon Service Banker Lexi Eckstein is on a fast career track with North Shore Bank. She started as a part-time CSR in October 2011, and soon she was looking for more responsibility.

Lexi indeed got it. She became a full-time CSR and completed sponsor training this past August, and in September she moved up to a service banker position.

Green Bay West BOSM Diane Leiterman trained Lexi. “Diane was a wonderful sponsor,” Lexi says. “My experience with her made me consider becoming a sponsor, but I didn’t think I had been with the bank long enough. Then my district manager, Kerri Collins, talked to me about the program.”

Lexi sponsored her first employee last month: Macy Finnegan, Ashwaubenon’s newest CSR. “She picked up on things quickly, and I was able to answer all of her questions,” Lexi says proudly.

“Lexi is knowledgeable and very patient,” says Ashwaubenon Branch Manager Gail Matzke. “She makes the new employee feel at ease as they are learning their way through our processes and systems. She welcomes questions, and she uses different communication styles to ensure that the employee is understanding what they are being taught.”

Despite describing herself as “extremely shy,” Lexi has gained confidence as her knowledge and responsibilities have expanded with each successive position. She looks forward to helping other beginning bankers learn new tasks and expand their horizons.

Lexi, I may have sponsored you but you did all this on your own. You are awesome and well deserving.

I still miss you at Howard, but it is great to see all your accomplishments in such little time. You are an asset to NSB, thank you.
