The results from Burlington’s pumpkin decorating contest are in: Teller Emily Henry took first prize with her haunted house pumpkin, and personal banker Jolene Cedeno’s spider was the runner-up.
“I got my inspiration from just scrolling painted pumpkin ideas on Pinterest,” Emily said. “It took me four or five hours to complete over a few evenings, after my kids went to bed.”
“We even had some customers vote on Facebook,” branch manager Robin Callis noted, adding that the team will be showing off their confectionary building skills next month with a gingerbread house contest.
