BRANCH NEWS
New Oak Creek office opening on March 4th
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming grand opening of our latest office in Oak Creek! This branch will be located at 200 W. Drexel Ave and will open on Monday, March 4, 2024.
The easy to access new branch across from Drexel Town Square will have individualized financial assistance with private offices, a larger lobby space, and video tellers to provide assistance during extended service hours seven days a week.
In addition, we will be running Oak Creek’s Free Community Coin Counting Fundraiser to help Cedar Hills Elementary School build a new playground! No-fee coin counting for all! Bring in your loose change and donate all or a portion to help Cedar Hills Elementary School.
This collection will run from March 4th to 30th, and the bank is matching the first $500. Heather Somers, who serves as the manager of the new Oak Creek location, acts as the Cedar Hills Elementary School PTO Treasurer.
“We’re thrilled to welcome customers to our brand-new Oak Creek branch. Our larger, newer space that now offers video teller service, coupled with the vibrant Drexel Town Square area, makes the branch a desirable space for customers, employees, and community members alike,” said Susan T. Doyle, senior vice president of retail banking at North Shore Bank.
We can’t wait to see the new branch!

North Shore Bank employees attend WBA’s Capitol Day
A group of sixteen employees attended WBA’s Capitol Day event on February 22, 2024! The team spent the morning with other bankers from around Wisconsin being briefed on legislative issues that have an impact on the banking industry.
The sixteen employees who attended were Kristen Gagliano, Molly Schissler, Rachel Rasmussen, Kerri Collins, Jonathan White, Lacee Kalepp, Aubrey Abrahamson, Maria Baumer, Ray Guardiola, Kristin Monday, Tisha Kenfield, James O’Brien, Shannon Quinn, Erica Hughes, Cristen Baumann and Mariella Zarb.
The group had a luncheon with guest speaker Governor Evers and walked to the Capitol to meet with legislators from our home districts.
Some of the topics discussed included data privacy, elder financial abuse, personal financial education requirement for high schools, a banking modernization bill, and tax parity. In between meetings, some employees were able to watch the assembly voting in action while others took a tour of the capitol building.
What an incredible experience!

Stephanie Ruiz mentors seniors from Muskego High School
Stephanie Ruiz met with seniors from Muskego High School who are a part of the Connect Academy class!
The goal of the mentorship program was to meet with 30-50 female high schoolers to discuss their career paths and options to broaden their horizons and show them the value of networking with other businesswomen.
The mentoring program includes students reading a thought-provoking question, followed by organic conversation regarding career paths, interests, and experiences. Program mentors are encouraged to distribute business cards to students and make connections.
What an amazing way to give back!
