Stephanie Ruiz was awarded the Ambassador of the Year by the Muskego Chamber of Commerce.

Stephanie Ruiz, Community Engagement Manager and Muskego Branch Manager, received the Ambassador of the Year award from the Muskego Chamber of Commerce at the chamber’s annual Awards Gala on March 7. Stephanie was called out by the chamber as someone who “leads by example,” is “highly involved,”  and is a tireless promoter of chamber events and participation.

Sue Doyle, SVP Retail Banking, said Stephanie’s passion for the community is inspiring. “Stephanie’s acknowledgment as Muskego’s Ambassador of the Year is proof of her dedication and contribution to the community,” she said. “To Stephanie, the opportunity to represent the chamber and North Shore Bank is a privilege and an opportunity to promote collaboration and growth within the community. Congratulations to Stephanie for being recognized for her amazing work and for making a positive impact.”

Stephanie said she was completely surprised to win. “I am extremely honored to receive this award,” she said. Associate Banker Sara Speich also attended the Gala.

North Shore Bank was nominated for the chamber’s Business of the Year but did not win. Chamber members noted the bank’s positive contributions to the community in the nomination forms, which included four categories: chamber involvement, community leadership, economic impact, and membership promoter. Here are some of the comments about North Shore Bank included in the supporting documents:

  • Stephanie and branch employees go above and beyond for the community. They even participate in several community events that are outside of the chamber’s organization.
  • North Shore Bank staff spend a large amount of hours helping to educate the community. The fact that North Shore corporate allows their branch manager the ability to be so immersed in the chamber on a daily basis means they are focused on bettering our community and business development.
  • Their solid staff culture is perfect for other local businesses. It’s a wonderful bank with such an amazing team that goes above and beyond. They donate to community members who are in need.

Congratulations to Stephanie and the Muskego branch!
