Employee leads team in walk to help fight multiple sclerosis
On Saturday, Casey Kopacz and Rosanne Pulvermacher, both Senior Deposit Operations Specialists in the Customer Support Center, participated in Walk MS, a fundraising walk to fight multiple sclerosis, at Mitchell Park in Brookfield. This is the second time Casey has participated in the walk.
Casey was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021 after experiencing numbness in her right hand, which quickly spread to the right side of her body. Within a week, she lost mobility on her left side. “It was at that time that my co-workers convinced me to go to the hospital, where I found out it was MS,” Casey said.
Since then, Casey is grateful to have not experienced flare-ups, although she has decreased sensation to temperature on her right side.
“Treatments for multiple sclerosis have come such a long way, and I’m thankful that with those treatments, I’ve been able to stay in remission,” she said. “I’m also thankful for the community putting this fundraising event together every year to help bring awareness to this terrible disease and try to bring an end to it.”

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
Customers share positive interactions with our employees
Lisa Young, Northside Branch Manager in Racine, recently received an extremely positive shout-out from a customer. The customer was not familiar with the area of banking that Lisa helped with, her father’s trust and estate accounts.
“I came here with no knowledge of what I needed to do,” the customer wrote. “She walked me through the whole process and helped me understand! I feel she went above and beyond what she really needed to do.”
The customer was incredibly grateful for the help and the time Lisa spent with her. She ended her note by saying that Lisa is “awesome!”
Way to go, Lisa!
In addition, we received a comment card recently praising the Sister Bay branch. It says, “The Sister Bay branch staff are the best!” Congratulations, Sister Bay branch!
