Experience a deliciously fun time at the 5th Annual North Shore Bank Shorewood Feast. This family-friendly event offers a feast of flavors along with free entertainment and activities for the whole family, including the popular Adventure Rock climbing wall. There will be music, a harvest dinner, artisans, and more; and it all kicks off at noon on Saturday, Sept. 14.
The signature street festival is held from the 4200 to 4400 blocks of Oakland Avenue. Our North Shore Bank tent will be near the intersection of Lake Bluff and Oakland Avenue. We’re featuring our kindness postcards and coin banks to decorate, along with Giant Jenga and Connect 4.
Shannon Weber, AVP and Community Engagement and Shorewood Branch Manager, noted that the bank has been part of the Shorewood community for over 100 years and a proud title sponsor of the Shorewood Feast since its inception five years ago. Sponsoring the event is just another way the bank spreads its Bank on Kindness® initiative.
Families will find all sorts of fun things to do, including face painting, balloon creations, and a caricature artist.
A highlight of the event is always the Harvest Dinner, which takes place in the middle of Oakland Avenue. About 125 people have already purchased tickets for the sold-out dinner, which includes culinary treats from guest chefs like Kyle Knall (Birch) and Adam Pawlak (Egg & Flour).
But don’t worry! You won’t go hungry. Dozens of vendors will be providing delicious food to enjoy.
You won’t want to miss this event!
