Shorelines editor passes the torch

Kathy Watson

December 2012 marked the beginning of my 15th year gathering information and writing and editing stories for Shorelines. I have met so many great people — although many only electronically — and learned so much about the multiple facets of banking and your unique brand of customer service. The culture of excellence fostered at every level of North Shore Bank has contributed to your unwavering success.

Now it’s time for me to step back and pass the torch to a new editor. I met Josh Wimmer two years ago, and knowing this day was inevitable, I invited him to begin helping with stories. As my instincts promised, I found Josh to be a quick study, a competent writer and editor, and an all-around nice guy. After he had been involved with Shorelines for a year, I spoke with Molly Schissler about her impressions, and she agreed that Josh was capable of taking the reins and providing a smooth transition.

So at this out-with-the-old, in-with-the-new time of year, I’m pleased to let all of you know that Josh is officially at the helm of Shorelines. I will continue to write a few stories from time to time, but my role will be significantly diminished.

Sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of you who have made my years of serving North Shore Bank so interesting, gratifying and truly joyful. You’re a class act.

Warmest regards,
Kathy Watson
