North Shore Bank once again was the premier sponsor for the Racine Zoo Egg-Stravaganza on March 30. This year’s 14th annual event drew more than 1,260 people, including more than 550 children. We handed out 135 vouchers from our Scoop & Save game that day and sent families on a sweet scavenger hunt.
North Shore Bank designed and printed the maps for the scavenger hunt, and our employees also served as the welcome wagon for families attending the event. We also ran a booth in the zoo’s monkey house, where kids could play the Scoop & Save game and they and their parents could learn about responsible saving and preventing identity theft.
Any family that opened a checking account with us that day got a family membership to the zoo, a value of $60.
“Every year we’re really excited to participate [in the Egg-Stravaganza],” says Area Branch Manager Sara Luther Hagerman. “We do three or four events at the zoo, and this is one of the best loved. We had so many volunteers, and everybody had a really great time. They love playing with the kids and getting them excited about saving money.”
Many thanks to those who helped out at Egg-Stravaganza:
