This week, three more Shorelines readers share their favorite summer activities:

“My husband and I like to attend old car shows in the summer,” writes Sussex Branch Manager/AVP Candy Walecki. “They are everywhere, but our favorite is the Wednesday night show at the Gasthaus restaurant in Waukesha. They have live music, you can purchase food, and it’s a nice venue to meet friends and enjoy the cars. You can get a list of all the car shows taking place this summer on the calendar at the website Wednesday Night Classics. Maybe we’ll see you at one!”

“My favorite summer activity would definitely be biking!” says Muskego Teller Supervisor Brittany Dahlke. “I love being able to bike around town and enjoy some nice summer weather at the same time. Of course, biking is something you could do in other seasons as well, but summer is my absolute favorite time to enjoy a nice bike ride.”

And Commercial Loan Specialist Heidi Becker says she’s anxious to spend the summer with husband Mike and daughters Hali, 10, and Morgan, 9, out on their boat. “We go swimming, tubing and relax in the sunshine. We like to try out different lakes, such as Pewaukee, Big Cedar and Lake Michigan. There are always restaurants to stop and eat at, or we bring our own food to enjoy on the boat. We bring friends or family to enjoy the time with also.”
