North Shore Bank will present three teachers — one in each of the bank’s North, Central and South regions — with a check for $1,923, in honor of the year we opened our doors. The bank was founded by a group of teachers in Shorewood, and the “Outstanding Teacher” contest acknowledges educators with a passion for teaching the complexities of personal finance. Public online voting will run through Sunday, Nov. 3, at www.NorthShoreBank.com/90Contest. In November, we will surprise the winning teachers with the checks at their schools.
