Brookfield Square collected a whole meal and more for a local family in need.
In the spirit of the holiday season, our Brookfield Square branch started a collection this month for a local family that had fallen on hard times. With the help of their partners in the mortgage and investments departments, the branch collected $280, reports Branch Manager Margie Brusa.

Bank employees took time for a picture with the recipient of the donations, center and front with her young son. Employees from left to right are Krista Stone, Donna Lubnow (in back), Sara Carter (in back), Merry Justin (in back), Debra Parajecki and Bob Domach.
“The generosity of our group allowed for us to purchase an entire dinner — turkey, stuffing, vegetables, pies, etc.,” Margie says. “But to top it off, we even purchased some snacks to enjoy for the Packer game that day! Our shoppers, [PB] Jon Habighorst and [Teller] Krista Stone, did a fantastic job and thought of every detail.”
Mortgage Loan Originator Bob Domach helped choose the family who received the help. He got an email of thanks on Monday:
Thank you for your generous offer. Too often people believe all are well off in Brookfield. This family is clearly in need. Thank you to North Shore for helping a Brookfield family in need. We are lucky to have such a family-oriented, service-driven business partner.
Thanks again, Mr. Domach.
