Spotlight: 30th Service Anniversary
Now a service rep for the Checking and IRA departments, Linda Lassa has worked in multiple jobs at two of our branches and in different spots at Corporate. “I know both ends of the spectrum,” she says. “I know what goes on in the branch, because I’ve been there, done that. I also know what happens behind the scenes at Corporate that branch people often never see.”
Around the Bank
• So many people showed up for East Receptionist Nancy LeClaire’s retirement reception, they ran out of cake. “It’s going to take me four months to write all my thank-you notes!” Nancy says.
• Howard’s Tavie Folk helped police catch four thieves and retrieve a customer’s stolen purse.

Service Anniversaries
You can congratulate your coworkers on their anniversaries in the comments.
“I love my job and all the people I’ve worked with,” says Oak Creek Teller Marie Hamilton, who marks 10 years with the bank this week. “I’ve thought about retiring this year, but they say they’re not letting me go! I know when I do leave, I will miss everything about this job, including all my customers. As they say in baseball: It’s not over till it’s over!”
“It feels great to celebrate 10 years as a North Shore Bank employee,” says VP of Information Technology Dana Scherff, who notes that she also worked as a consultant for the bank for a few years before formally accepting a position here. “Hands down, my favorite part of my job is the people I work with. I also really love the work. Technology continually changes. Learning about new technology, examining how it can benefit NSB, and implementing it is very gratifying.”
And David Kane, VP of REO Asset Management, celebrates 5 years with the bank this week.
