Our National Breast Cancer Awareness Month efforts continue! The Loan Operations department put on a bake sale and raffle on Monday to support the Rock River Breast Cancer Foundation in Oconomowoc.
“We had a great turnout!” reports Loan Funding Rep Marna Thillemann. “We went through almost all of our baked goods — we have a lot of great bakers in our department, so I shouldn’t be surprised.”
The event raised $226 from the bake sale and $81 from the 50/50 raffle, for a total of $307. Mortgage Collections Manager Connie Hagen won the raffle.
Loan Funding Rep Sarah Gantner helped organize it, too. “Many North Shore Bank employees were very generous with their donations,” Sarah says. Of the high-calorie deliciousness on offer, she jokes, “We are all glad our health assessments are postponed until April of next year.”
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the bake sale and the raffle, and to all the departments and branches who’ve dressed up in pink this month. If your branch or department has a Pink Day coming up, remember to get a picture and send it to HR Rep Cheryl Fregoso at cfregoso@northshorebank.com.
