What are you grateful for?

It’s easy to get excited about days off, watching football, relaxing with family and friends, and eating too much turkey and stuffing. But let’s take a moment to think about what Thanksgiving really is: an opportunity to reflect on the good people and things in our lives, and to express our gratitude for them. Share what you’re thankful for with Shorelines, and you can win a $25 gas card.

Wrap-up rallies. Branches and managers were honored for their performance over the 2013-14 fiscal year in October.
• Racine/Kenosha Heart Walk. North Shore Bank sponsored the event — and Seymour Savings won the mascot race!
Kenosha Central 15th anniversary celebration. “We still have customers stopping by to thank us for putting on a great party,” reports Branch Manager Robin Callis.
Sussex Harvest Fest. This year it was a low-key event, but visitors still had fun playing games and taking home free pumpkins.
American Banker honors NSB. And if you haven’t heard, a leading industry publications named North Shore Bank one of the country’s “Best Banks to Work For” for the second year in a row. Congratulations to everyone whose efforts have made this a great place to earn a living.

Service Anniversaries

You can congratulate your coworkers on their anniversaries in the comments.

“Boy, it’s hard to believe that 10 years have passed already,” says North Region Training Specialist Jan Born. “I enjoy my role, as two days are never the same, and change is constant. I feel that I make a difference by playing a small part in our awesome team’s successes. I am so fortunate to work with so many caring professionals, who always put the customer first.”

Marketing VP Kevin Wilderman writes: “I have had an opportunity to meet a lot of great people over the years. It is funny how quickly 10 years can go by. I think it is great that the bank encourages everyone to support and participate in their local communities.”
