We got a nice surprise from students at Howard Elementary, who sent the bank these handmade notes thanking us for putting on the Dash for Cash at the Green Bay Gamblers hockey game on Jan 24.

In the Dash for Cash, $6,500 in singles was placed in the center of the rink, and 21 teachers and school administrators scrambled to pick up as much money as they could to support their classrooms. Howard Elementary teacher Mrs. Voight came away with $290, which she used to purchase sweatshirts as student incentives for the school’s reading program.

North Shore Bank has been the presenting sponsor of the Dash for Cash since 2008. We’ll team with the Gamblers again on Mar 28 to raise funds for the American Heart Association.
