Love dogs? Volunteer fur a good cause!

North Shore Bank employees at Wagfest 2014.

Elmbrook Humane Society needs volunteers for its annual Wagfest fundraiser at Mitchell Park in Brookfield on Sept 12. “About 6,000 people come to the event with their dogs,” says DM Cristen Baumann, a Humane Society board member. “It is very fun and hilarious!” If you want to help out at Wagfest, find out how here.

Around the Bank

Sussex Chamber golf outing: Sussex Branch Manager Candy Walecki (left) and PB Sam Persik spent Aug 6 helping the local chamber of commerce with its annual golf event. “This is their major fundraiser, and we helped with the contest at the various tees. It was a great day, and we were able to network and say hello to a few customers as well,” Candy reports.

Nitelite Run: North Shore Bank sponsored a team from the Green Bay West branch in the Schneider Community Credit Union Nitelite Run on Aug 14. Team members (from left) were: ABMO Diane Leiterman, UB Leigha Johnston and husband Brent, Branch Manager Sharon Hack, and ABMS Hali Thompson.

March-April credit card promotion awards: Ashwaubenon ABMS Stevie Nemetz won the exclusive sweepstake grand prize of $500 for March and April in a random drawing of employees who booked new Visa or American Express credit card accounts. For more award winners, see here.

Muskego: Mythical dwarves, big new construction projects, multiple awards, and misbehaving 3-year-olds — Muskego has it all! Branch Manager Katie Presser and her team share what makes their location so great.

Service Anniversaries

You can congratulate your coworkers on their anniversaries in the comments.

“Wow — time really does fly!” writes El Rey Teller Erika Hernandez. “It has been a pleasure working at North Shore Bank this past 5 years. I have learned a lot from the bank and all of my coworkers, especially my supervisor. It has been wonderful working at the El Rey branch — I see my colleagues and not only part of my team but also as my ‘El Rey family.’”

Kudos

This week, a comment from a resident who’s lived in Sister Bay for 30 years and decided to stop by our branch there. After talking with Branch Manager Dede Mickelson and MLO Amy DeMain, the resident is thinking of moving their banking over to North Shore Bank. Nice work, Dede and Amy!
