The Sussex Food Pantry is collecting donations from businesses and individuals through April 25 for its 16th Annual Mother’s Day Gift Bag giveaway. Donate items like candles, jewelry, sweet treats, lotion, hair accessories, shampoo, body wash, gift cards, books, journals, perfume, cosmetics, nail polish, stationery, notecards, soap, and small household items, and they’ll be collected into gift bags for mothers in need, to be given away the week before Mother’s Day. Donations are being collected at our Sussex and Brookfield Capitol branches.

North Shore Bank employees and other members of the public are invited to celebrate Earth Day with the Urban Ecology Center during a volunteer cleanup event on April 23. See our post for more information.
