“August Nights” at Jackson Park, a free concert series throughout the month on Thursday evenings, continues tonight with the Saturday June Band, performing “a soulful blend of music from the ’60s and ’70s to today’s hits.” Next Thursday, August 18, Mariachi Zamora will perform.

Tomorrow night, Friday, August 12, will be Sussex Movie Night at Sussex Village Park. The movie is Rango, and there will be free popcorn and other concessions.

On August 19, you can help Celebrate Fang’s Birthday at Fox Cities Stadium with Seymour Savings and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

Cudahy will hold its second annual Bluegrass in the Park concert on August 20. All proceeds will benefit efforts to restore Pulaski Park-Cudahy’s 1930s-era pavilion to make it available for public rental.

And it is Superhero Night on August 20 at North Shore Bank Family Night at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, featuring Batman and Superman. Pow!
