The public can drop off old and tattered American flags at any North Shore Bank location during our 15th annual worn flag collection through October 23.

Advance tickets for the North Shore Bank Zoo Boo are on sale at all branches in northeast Wisconsin through October 29. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the event. The Zoo Boo takes place at the NEW Zoo in Suamico on October 14-15, 21-22, and 28-29.

Family Free Day at the Milwaukee County Zoo takes place this Saturday, October 8. Admission is free during this event, sponsored by North Shore Bank and Fox 6.

The Kenosha Crop Hunger Walk will take place October 9. The walk supports the ministry of Church World Service — 75 percent of funds donated will go to help world hunger, and 25 percent will go to local food pantries and be divided between the Shalom Center, First Step Services, and the Salvation Army.
