Consumer Lending personnel won awards for the fiscal year that ended September 30. Senior vice president Mike Kellman announced the winners:
- Sherry Leanna and Miguel Pesqueira each won Top Relationship Manager for Percent Increase Over Last Year (Mortgage).
- Jim Halbman won Top Relationship Manager for Percent Over Goal (Indirect).
- Stephanie Glowinski-Moeller won Top Relationship Manager for Total Sales (Mortgage).
- Jim also won the North Star Award for indirect sales.
- And Steve Luebke won the North Star Award on the mortgage side.
“It feels great to have had a strong year for the bank, but it is not just me,” Jim said. “It was achieved with help from dealer relations and training manager John Goman and the team at the bank. Everyone behind the scenes — thank you. Another factor is the stability of North Shore. The fact that we have steered the same course for over 25 years leads to dealer trust and appreciation and more often than not, returning customers request to stay with North Shore.”
“With the amazing management, underwriting, and processing team we have, I was very honored to receive this for the third year in a row,” Stephanie said. “I really love what I do, as well as the referral sources I work with who have helped me to build my book of mortgage business.”
“There is much credit to be shared,” Steve agreed. “The support staff at North Shore Bank does a great job — Jamie Sperk’s disclosure review team, Nicole Daniels’s secondary, processing, and closing departments, as well as the underwriting department. There’s also the hard work that Cheryl Shelley, my processor, has provided. I also credit the support I receive from management. And crtainly not last, the referral sources — both internal and external — are extremely important. Success in mortgage lending is truly a team effort. Since my first day at North Shore Bank, I have been impressed with the teamwork of all of the departments.
