The Sussex branch celebrated its 10th anniversary with an open house on October 22. “Tons” of people attended, said incoming branch manager Anne Kagerah.
The event had free pumpkins for kids to decorate and a bouncy house, as well as a decluttering seminar and grilled lunch prepared by the Hamilton High School robotics club. The Girl Scouts also put on a water conservation activity, and Sussex firefighters showed off a fire engine and other equipment. North Shore’s Cole Heinrich played guitar and sang, too, and there were games and animals for kids to pet.
