Last week, we asked you to tell us what your favorite holiday gift ever was. A few of you shared your memories with Shorelines.

Favorite gift: A trip to Disney World
“In 2012, we surprised my daughter, Toni, who was 5 at the time. We didn’t tell her until we were about to board the airplane. We got to spend the most magical time of the year in the most magical place!”
Natalie Canadeo, Deposit Services Manager
Favorite gift: Doll house
“The doll house was handmade by a local carpenter. My mom gift-wrapped all the miniature furniture, so I had lots of things to unwrap. I was about 6 years old. I found out years later that the carpenter only charged my mom $15 for the house! I could never part with it. It’s in storage, with everything carefully wrapped up in paper.”
Wendy Gyles, Electronic Banking AVP
Favorite gift: First grandchild
“My all-time best Christmas gift! Rhiannon was born December 24, 1999!”
Missy Hayburn, Consumer/Commercial Processing
Favorite gift: Any homemade gift from my daughter, Khloe
“Since becoming a mother six years ago, I have received many homemade gifts — anything from ornaments to cards with stories, handprint poems, etc. Khloe’s gifts are truly the best a mom could ask for — items I will forever hold on to and hopefully pass down to her children someday.”
