We are happy to announce the first winners of North Shore Bank’s monthly Seymour Salute awards, which are part of our SOAR Together awards. Starting in December, the Seymour Salute nominating committee reviewed submissions and selected individuals who have best personified the bank’s SOAR Together service principles. Winners received Seymour Salute reward points.
Winners for December are:
- Stephanie Bluemel, Franklin Assistant Branch Manager–Sales
- Dane Didier, East Branch Manager
- Cheryl Fregoso, Human Resources Representative
- Georgia Phillips, Credit Sales Representative
- Kattia Xiong, Customer Care Specialist
In addition, the committee recognizes Customer Service Rep Max Retzlaff as a Rising Star. Rising Stars are Seymour Salute winners who have been with the bank less than two years.
Max has been with North Shore Bank since March 2015, when he started as a teller at Milwaukee Capitol. In June 2016, he moved to the call center. “I’m extremely honored to be receiving this award,” he says. He credits his “amazing team” with helping him earn the Rising Star recognition. “When I’m not sure how to help a customer. there is always somebody I can ask to get the right answer.”

As a reminder, each month we will review who has received recognition through our Seymour Salutes site, looking for those who have received e-cards such as thank-yous, “SOARing,” etc. There are no minimum or maximum limits on the number of monthly winners selected. All employees are eligible, and there is no limit on the number of times a person can be recognized as a top performer during the year. When appropriate, the committee may recognize an employee with less than two years of service as a Rising Star performer.

Winners of the annual awards will be announced in April. Recipients will receive $500!
