The Pulaski crew: personal banker Phil Koebe, Katie Presser, district manager Kerri Collins, universal banker Sam Frank, and teller Kathi Reinke.

The staff at our Pulaski branch sported the green and gold last Friday to support the Green Bay Packers. “We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a big win on Sunday!” said branch manager Katie Presser. Must have helped — the Pack beat the Dallas Cowboys 34-31. •••

New Hires for January 19
It’s always exciting to add new members to our team. Here are some of the fresh faces at North Shore Bank.

Fox Point teller supervisor Tenisha Pace is from Milwaukee and previously worked at a local credit union downtown. “One interesting thing about me is, I had my baby boy DJ on my birthday last January, and it was my doctor’s birthday as well! So it was one big celebration in the delivery room!” Hope this year is a happy one too, Tenisha! •••

North Shore Shape Up: Watch for leg cramps
As part of a list of tips for healthy aging, Berkeley Wellness notes the importance of keeping your bones strong:

Women over 65 should be screened for osteoporosis via a bone density test, as should women age 50 to 64 if they have risk factors such as smoking or a family history of the disease. To keep bones healthy, quit smoking; do weight-bearing exercise such as strength training with weights, jumping rope, running, or playing tennis. Get adequate amounts of vitamin D and calcium. By age 65, about 6 percent of men also have osteoporosis, so older men should discuss their risk factors with their doctors, and get a bone density test if their doctors recommend one.

However old you are, taking care of your bones is good advice! •••
