Tosa returns to Fourth parade, hangs with camels

Staff from our Wauwatosa branch had a blast taking part in the town’s Fourth of July parade this year. “We got so many compliments on our float, and we ran into quite a few customers who were so glad to see us back in the parade after taking a few years off,” reports teller Jazmin Vela.

The employees got to hang out with some camels beforehand, too. The animals were participating in the parade on behalf of a chiropractor who is one of our customers.

Craig Witz caught this photo of our float from a distance.

In the branch parking lot, personal banker Raymundo Guardiola, Silver Spring assistant branch manager Shamika Parish, and VP Craig Witz ran a booth and welcomed visitors; they were joined by two military veterans and the veterans’ families. The booth offered a Plinko game and a bag toss, along with ice cream and water. The grandson of another vet ran a lemonade stand as well. “Everything earned at the stand was donated back to the VA Center, which was really awesome,” Jazmin noted.
