Corporate employees raised $1,766 for veterans’ organizations in conjunction with this year’s holiday celebration, held December 14. That money was split evenly between the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative and the Wisconsin Veterans Home, along with household goods and food donations.

Besides food, fun, and giveaways, the holiday celebration featured an Ugly Sweater Contest that included some truly breathtaking entries. Winners were:

• First place: Lori Staniszewski, residential loan workout rep
• Second place: Stephanie Hallgren, BSA/AML specialist
• Third place: Janet Russell, deposit operations supervisor
• Rash Inducing: Colleen Moore, mailroom assistant
• Most Flammable: Lisa Thompson, senior consumer credit adjustor
• Most Creative: Brenda Newton, mortgage servicing specialist

AVP and business relationship Jeremy Schmidt dropped off the donations with the commandant for the State of Wisconsin VA campus in Union Grove. “He wanted me to send his profound appreciation from the entire team there for the generosity of the bank and employees,” Jeremy said.
